A drool worthy lunch.

I had the most fantastic mussels for lunch. I used the recipe here. The only thing I did differently was to cook the mussels in the tomato/wine mix towards the end of instead of doing separately at the beginning.





















Yum. I'm glad I'm the only one who will eat mussels around here.

Bedroom Reno

It's been awhile. My new camera was defective so I had to send it back to Canon for repairs. It took over a month. It was a sad time without the camera.

Now it's back and here are the pics of my bedroom reno.

Limey built the bed, headboard and shelves. I made the curtains. The bed itself has 6 drawers to hold my clothes as Limey's clothes take up our entire closet. I wish I had a before pic but I didn't have the camera before we did the reno. The walls were a ghastly magenta and the unfinished wood floors were covered in blue carpet. Yuck. But that's in the past and now my old gloomy bedroom is light and airy and wonderful!
