  4. The kids will be happy when the chicks are out so they can snuggle with them.

The rabbit gave birth last night. Limey thinks there are at least 8 bunnies in the hutch.

I'm buying a couple dozen easter egger eggs to hatch out next week.

    It's so much fun!

  5. LOL Fun and addictive! Did you get your easter egger's off of kijiji? Once this cold snap is over we'll switch some hens around and put them with one of the roo's we have.
    Any new hatches?

  6. The guy posts on Kijiji but we have his number so Limey just called him up to see if he had any eggs ready. He says they are Ameraucanas but they are not as they lay green eggs.

We'll be getting them in about a week.

I'm just waiting on the two older brown eggs and 3 whites I think.

I'm going to sell the crosses and keep the pures.

  7. We also have 2 EE's (roo and hen)from the same guy that we got at about 1 week old. Hopefully the hen will start laying soon. We have them in with a hen Pendasca too.(?) - dark brown layer - so hopefully when she mixes with the EE roo we'll get an olive green egg.
