For the past couple of weeks I've been shooing one of our younger Barred Rocks out of the nest boxes. Every single time I go out for eggs she's sitting there on them. If I try to remove her from the nest, she freaks out. I don't want her neglecting herself too long so I got some fertile eggs and moved her into one of the empty breeding pens.
I put some food and water close to the nest because she won't travel far for it. Now she can sit here all she wants and hatch out these eggs. Hopefully she won't get bored and ditch them before they're ready to be born.
