I can't be sure from the photo, but they look like forget-me-nots.
I would say they are forget-me-nots.I see them every spring at my neighbours. They are a sweet showy flower:)
love columbines too, have 5 different colours of them myself, 4 of your second pic and 1 of the first one. They are one of my favourites but I'm really not happy with where I have them placed, so i think i'll be finding a new home for them soon...
Definitely not the nots. I've been googling and these have four petals whereas nots have 5. Also they have a white centre. Nots have a yellow centre. Not to mention the height difference. Too many nots in one paragraph?I might have to post this over on gardenweb's id forum.
Look up Birdseye Speedwell. It looks like it could be that.
I think you're right Sharon. The leaves are a match as well. Thanks!
I have it here, don't know the name, but it is a vicious spreader. One tiny clump was attached to a plant I bought at a sale and it took over the garden.
it could be Cat nip i have it planted as well and it does have that colour bloom .. i've let it keep spreading as its in a weedy section of the lawn.. so i figure pretty blue flowers is better than weeds..Crystal
