I am so jealous of your garden. It is 6C this morning in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island.Found your blog the other day...read back until your T bay days. What does your comment , about the library not able to keep up with you, mean ? Can you not order books online, hi speed internet too slow? Not enough books in the system?Looking forward to your next adventures.barb
I'm really giddy over my garden this year. It's going to look soooo good come August. I told Limey that I wanted to expand. He thinks I'm nuts. My friend's family is from the Island. I thought it was warmer there? The library in each town along the Valley is very small. The one here in Bridgetown is about the size of my living room. When you order books online, it could be coming from any of the other branches. I'm not sure how often they deliver books from each branch but I've waited up to 3 weeks for a book that was on a library shelf somewhere, to get to me here in my town. The book selection is actually much better than the branches in Thunder Bay which is funny considering the population difference! Thanks for reading!
While it may be warmer generally, last week I wore gloves as it was cold!Gloves in June! barb
I live in a little nugget of Nova Scotia where there is still frost some evenings. I'm happy just to see rhubarb! You are so lucky
Hey Annie, we picked this spot in the Valley specifically for the weather. We were sick of the long winters and short growing season of Northern Ontario. It's so lovely here.
