Rustic

On a windy day last year, the kid's cheap Walmart swingest got crushed into a million tiny pieces.  Well, maybe not a million, but the frame was rendered unusable.  With all this uncut firewood laying around, Limey finally decided to make a new one.

Ta da!

Isn't it lovely?  Hopefully we won't see this one all bent up after the next hurricane.

  1. Love it! We are planning to make a rustic AND sturdy swing set this summer. your teeter totter reminds me of one from my childhood, it was a log like that with a plank:)

  2. It looks a lot better than the old metal one. You'll have to bring the kids over for one of the Monday playgroups to try it out.

  4. Hey Erin! I love it too. I'm trying to come up with more things to add to it. Maybe a water wall? Definitely a stump table and chair set for tea time.
