So It Begins

We procrastinated on buying firewood for way too long this year.  We finally got our load on Friday because I wanted to get it stacked before it snowed.

Four DRY cords.  That's a first.

And then of course it snowed.  I had only moved a half a cord.

Fortunately this is Nova Scotia where snow doesn't last.  Now if only my broken wagon will hold up a wee bit longer.

  1. Wood is a lot of work. But you can't beat the heat. We haven't had any snow yet here on P.E.I.

  2. I think I've had pretty much every kind of heater; wood, oil, gas, electric and water. Nothing beats wood. It's such a lovely enveloping heat.
