The rug came in and boy was it wrapped tight. It took me a good 15 minutes to pry all the plastic off it.
It's quite a similar colouring to the pillows. It's got a bit of a gunmetal colour to it.
I think I'm going to become even more reclusive and never leave the living room. It's so pretty!

I LOVE it!!! Your living room is looking great.
ReplyDeleteThanks! After I posted, I moved the sofa and chairs off the rug so that they are framing it instead. It looks nicer that way. Now I don't want to put a coffee table on the rug. A clear lucite table would be great but I'm afraid the kids would wreck it.
ReplyDeleteGood Job Jen ! You're a design diva !!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny because when I was a teen I wanted to be an interior decorator. I'm finding that a lot of the styles I like can be traced back to the interior design magazines I used to read.
ReplyDeleteI can see how that would look good. One thing I told dh is that before we move, I want to get a new couch. It will be easier to get it here and we NEED a new one as the kids have wrecked this one.
ReplyDeleteYou did a really great job! I think it should be in a magazine. I bet the rug feels heavenly on the bare feet.
ReplyDeleteThere is no limit to the number of color combinations you can choose from.
ReplyDeleteYou can often find much better deals when you start looking
on the internet. Just like anything you need to do on a
budget, it makes sense to decorate your fall wedding yourself.

Hi there! I know this is sort of off-topic but I needed to ask.
ReplyDeleteDoes operating a well-established blog like yours
take a lot of work? I'm completely new to blogging however I do write in my diary daily. I'd like to start a blog so I will be able to share my experience and views online.
Please let me know if you have any kind of suggestions or
tips for new aspiring bloggers. Thankyou!
