52 Books in 52 Weeks-Week 5

 Last week I read Deconstructing Penguins which was informative and encouraging.  It's about how to do literary analysis with kids.  The book goes through a bunch novels and how they were taught to   a child/parent book club. 


I also read The Year of Learning Dangerously which is a hilarious look into the mind of new homeschooling mom.   

I generally only read one book at a time but have now got way too many in progress.  In my defence, the Sassafrass Science Advenutures is a kids novel about zoology that I'm reading aloud to dd1.  It still counts for the challenge!
